Colony Olivenhain
Colony Olivenhain was established in 1884 by a group of German-speaking immigrants. The Olivenhain Town Council is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation formed to hold and preserve the Olivenhain Meeting Hall and property. The purpose of the OTC is to promote an appreciation of Olivenhain history for the public good of the community of Olivenhain.

2026 Olivenhain Oktoberfest
Sunday, October 4 — Noon to 4 p.m.
Bratwurst, German potato salad, red cabbage, sauerkraut and dessert under the trees of the historic Meeting Hall grounds — with craft beer from local breweries and a wide range of wines in the garden.
Order online and adults receive a complimentary Munich-style pretzel from San Diego Pretzel Company, while supplies last.
