Olivenhain Town Council Standing Committees

The Olivenhain Town Council has four standing committees: 

Building and Grounds -- the Building and Grounds Committee is responsible for recommending, planning, and executing maintenance and improvements to the Meeting Hall, the Germania Hotel, and the property in generl.

City Watch Task Force -- the City Watch Task Force monitors activities within the City of Encinitas to identify issues which might affect Olivenhain.

Communications -- the Communications Committee is responsible for reaching out to members of the community.  In particular, the Communications Committee publishes the monthly newsletter and maintains the web site. 

Community Events - the Community Events Committee is responsible for scheduling and organizing regular annual events and special events. 

Fundraising -- the Fundraising Committee is responsible for planning and organizing fund raising activities, which supplement membership dues and other contributions to provide the necessary funding for projects.

Each committee has a chairperson.  The committee chair need not be a member of the Board of Directors, so interested volunteers are welcome.
